FAQ

I haven't been a member of Fitness cener Joker  (further in text: FCJ) before and I purchased a membership online. What do I need to do next?

  • With confirmation of payment in printed or electronic form (on your mobile phone), please go to the reception where your membership card and receipt will be waiting for you. At the reception, you will need to pay the cost of creating the card, which is 3 EUR.

I am an existing member of FCJ and I purchased a membership online. What do I need to do next?

  • Nothing, if you used the same email address during registration and payment for the membership online. Your payment will automatically renew your membership on your existing FCJ card. You can collect your receipt for the purchase of the membership at the reception.

I am an existing member of FCJ, but my membership did not automatically renew when I entered the gym. Why?

  • If your payment has gone through but your membership has not been updated on your membership card, it is most likely that you are not registered in the FCJ membership database with the email address you used for the purchase. Please contact the staff at the reception or via e-mail , who will manually update your details in the membership database so that your membership will be automatically renewed during future payments.

I purchased a membership online, when does my membership start?

  • Your membership is automatically extended or activated at the moment you receive the confirmation from the webshop that your membership fee has been paid, so from the day you paid the membership fee.

How secure is payment through your webshop?

  • For online payments, we use WSPay - a secure system for online payments, real-time payments, credit and debit cards, and other payment methods. WSPay ensures secure entry and transfer of card data for both the customer and the merchant, which is confirmed by the PCI DSS certificate that WSPay has.

How does automatic membership/subscription billing for 12 months work?

  • If you choose the option of automatic membership renewal for 12 months, your card will be automatically charged the monthly membership fee every month for the next 12 months after purchasing this option. Each time your membership is renewed, you will receive a confirmation of the membership purchase on your email. Once you have been entered into the membership database, your membership will be automatically renewed on your FCJ membership card.

 

What does my subscription/automatic billing include?

  • It includes uninterrupted use of the membership (for the option you have chosen) for 12 months, starting from the day you subscribed, and payment of the membership fee according to the terms of the option you have chosen, based on the price list that was current at the time of your first purchase. The service price does not change for the entire duration of the subscription.

Does my subscription renew automatically?

  • Yes, the subscription renews automatically for 12 months from the date of purchase. After 12 months, the subscription will expire automatically, and there is no need to cancel it.

Can I cancel my subscription?

  • Subscription can be canceled at any time, but in accordance with Article 86 of the Croatian Consumer Protection Act, FCJ is not obligated to refund the membership fee to the customer/user. Any refund to FCJ members is considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on whether the member is unable to use FCJ services for an extended period due to objective circumstances (illness, serious injury, pregnancy).

How can I cancel my subscription?

  • The contract can be unilaterally terminated within 14 days of signing using the unilateral contract termination form or any other unambiguous statement expressing your intention to terminate the contract, in a durable medium.

  • Subscription can be canceled at any time, but in accordance with Article 86 of the Consumer Protection Act, FCJ is not obligated to refund the membership fee to the customer/user.

How long does the subscription extend if I do not cancel it?

  • The subscription lasts for 12 months from the time of purchase. After that, it is automatically canceled, and it is not necessary to cancel it separately. If you want to renew the subscription after the 12-month period from the purchase expires, you need to purchase it again.

What happens if I purchase an automatic membership renewal for a year with a credit card that expires before the end of subscription term?

  • In case the validity period of the credit card used to pay for the membership expires before the end of the subscription term, you will receive a notification by email that the payment was not processed, and the membership will not be renewed. In that case, the user must rejoin with a subscription for the next 12 months because the existing membership is terminated. Therefore, it is essential to subscribe with a card that is valid for at least 12 months from the time of joining.

I am a student and cannot purchase a subscription via the web with special student conditions, why?

  • Currently, we cannot automatically verify the validity of documents proving your student/school/retirement status. Therefore, such types of memberships can only be purchased at the FCJ reception with valid documentation.

Why can't I purchase multiple memberships at once via the web?

  • You purchase membership via the web as a user with a unique email address used to identify you in the system. Therefore, each membership purchase must be linked to an individual membership user email.

I want to purchase a membership for another family member, do I need to make the purchase with my email or with the email of the person who will use the membership?

  • You should purchase the membership with the email of the person who will use the membership, so that person can register as a user in our membership database.

I want to change the user information for the membership I purchased, how can I do that?

  • Please, send us an email on or contact our employees at the FCJ reception who will make the necessary changes.

I want to purchase a subscription for my company, can I get an R1(company) invoice?

  • Yes, you can - after making the purchase, our employees at the reception can issue an R1 invoice upon request.

In which currency is payment made?

  • Payment for all transactions is made in EUR.
